Cid Marcos,
Several states have petitioned the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove grizzly bears from Endangered Species Act protections. There are fewer than 2,000 grizzlies in the lower-48 states, and the loss of this critical protection would put grizzly bears in jeopardy of extinction. Take a moment to contact the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and urge them to keep grizzly bears protected under the Endangered Species Act.
If protections are lifted these bears could be subject to trophy hunting and other cruelties. Not only are adult bears killed for nothing more than a trophy but, studies also show that grizzly bear trophy hunting can indirectly cause the deaths of numerous orphaned cubs.
