Canada has spoken. The federal election is over, but the work to protect animals is far from done. From intensive farming to the wildlife trade, the decisions made by this government will shape the future for millions of animals here in Canada and around the world.

While it can sometimes feel like one voice doesn't make a difference, history tells a different story. Public pressure and advocacy have led to major wins for animals in Canada, including the ban on cosmetic animal testing and the end of keeping whales and dolphins in captivity for entertainment. These victories happened because people like you, friend, spoke up and took action.

Before the election, we invited representatives from each major party to talk about their plans to protect animals and strengthen federal laws. Free Joyce from captivity!

Joyce has spent decades in captivity after being stolen from the wild. She comes from the same group as Mundi, who was also torn from his home. But while Mundi has finally found sanctuary, Joyce remains trapped at a theme park, suffering in isolation near roaring rollercoasters and screaming crowds.
