Longtime photographer focused on upcoming Salmon Arm exhibition

Greg Osadchuk, BA’76, BEd’00, views the wonder of nature through the lens of his camera. The 72-year-old photographer returned to Salmon Arm about five years ago and will share his passion for capturing landscapes and nature at Atelier A Way of Being gallery on Hudson throughout August. The seasoned, now-retired professional photographer has spent the last several years exploring and capturing the foreshore in every season.

Valerie Jerome, BEd’79, is an advocate for racial justice, education, and excellence in sport. A former Olympian, she continues to use her platform to inspire meaningful change, champion equity, and empower future generations. As a lifelong educator, she works to foster inclusivity and raise awareness, allowing the stories of marginalized communities to be heard and celebrated.

Dr. Rosalin Miles Receives CIHR Implementation Science Chair in Human Development, Child and Youth Health (Indigenous Pool)

We’re delighted to congratulate Dr. Rosalin Miles, MHK’98, on receiving a $1 million CIHR Implementation Science Chair in Human Development, Child and Youth Health (Indigenous Pool). As Chair, Dr. Miles will lead the ShQUooz Circle Program, an Indigenous-led initiative that connects children and youth with aunties, grandmothers, and Knowledge Keepers to share teachings and strengthen cultural identity through land- and water-based activities co-created with Indigenous partners.
