This September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re coming together again across Ontario to build LINKED for Life — a colourful paper chain created by people and communities to raise awareness and show their support for children with cancer and their families. LINKED for Life began through POGO’s Survivor to Survivor program, bringing childhood cancer survivors together to support and connect with one another. Seven years later, LINKED for Life has raised over $170,000, and our survivor network continues to be an important part of this campaign, showing up year after year to help grow the chain and strengthen the connections. Register and fundraise in support of POGO during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Set a goal, share your story and invite your friends, family, classmates or coworkers to join you. Fundraise on your own, build a team with your workplace, organize an activity at school or work, or simply find a fun way to raise important funds in support of POGO. Every donation adds another link to the paper chain, helping us work toward our goal of 10,000 links and $50,000 raised this September.
