Another amazing Stand Up for Kids Night
September 13's Stand Up for Kids Night honoured the academic achievements of the young people we support. Over 300 scholarships were presented to students for the 2023-24 academic year. "I want to acknowledge each youth in care across Canada and their stories because every one of them is unique, but so often they go unheard. The Foundation helps give us a voice," says Tiago, this year's valedicotorian speaker. Thank you to The Globe & Mail and CIBC for their support of this event.

Meet the teddy bear who travelled 20,000 KM this summer
This summer, Theo embarked on a journey across Canada to celebrate our partner AMJ’s $2 million dollar pledge to the Foundation. Theo visited AMJ employees across the country to see how they help children and youth in or from child welfare - from packing and delivering comfort kits for children entering care to raising funds that help children and youth thrive. His last stop was in October to celebrate AMJ's Move Month, which happens annually in support of the Foundation.

Helping children and youth every day of the year
"Supporting children, youth and families involved in child welfare is a cause that is incredibly meaningful to us," says Kathryn and Dan Barclay (Children's Aid Foundation of Canada's Board Chair). That's why they've agreed to MATCH the first 12 months of donations for new monthly donors to the Foundation. By signing up, you can show children and youth involved in child welfare that you believe that they’re worth investing in.
