Dear Friend,

Remember the little jaguar cub who was rescued from the fires in Brazil back in 2022? Well, Xamã’s all grown-up now and nearly ready to be released back to the wild where he belongs!

He’s spent the last couple of years learning crucial survival skills and growing into a powerful young jaguar. Recently, our team went to go check up on him and fit him with a radio collar and microchip which will allow the team to track his movements post-release and collect valuable data on jaguar behaviour.

Back in June, we shared the story of Chinh, the bear rescued from a bile farm after suffering for 20-long years. Now, we are happy to give you more good news: Chinh officially finished his quarantine and has begun his new life in the sanctuary, and we have video footage you won’t want to miss!
