With 2025 well underway, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress we made together for animals in 2024. Thanks to your unwavering support, we:

• Rescued monkeys from cruel training centers, giving them a second chance at a better life.

• Rehabilitated injured wildlife and successfully released them back into the wild.

• Released two groundbreaking reports on plant-based food systems and restaurant menu innovation.

• Partnered with governments and organizations to drive sustainable food policies.

• And so much more!

Together, we are making real change for animals.

Working to protect animals can be challenging and this past year certainly had its ups and downs, but it was also full of incredible milestones worth celebrating.

Unfortunately, with the announcement of Prime Minister Trudeau’s resignation, the progress of several key bills including Bill S-15 and Bill C-203 has stalled.

But with MPs back in their communities, and an election right around the corner, now is the perfect time for you to speak up for animals and ensure their protection is a priority.

Our Vote for Animals campaign is dedicated to pushing for strong commitments from all political parties. Join us and ask your MP to support meaningful change for animals in the next federal election.

Last year brought many challenges... In Canada’s wildlife trade, we recorded 36 incidents, including animal smuggling busts, escapes, attacks and zoonotic disease outbreaks.

But thanks to you, friend, animals had a voice every step of the way. As we move into 2025, you have the power to make an even bigger impact for animals.
