Happy Launch Week! We are so excited to be launching our 2025 Walk season tomorrow on an incredibly important day for the community, Rare Disease Day! As a dedicated Walk Coordinator, we are so grateful for the time, heart and effort that you put into your Walk and raising crucial funds for cystic fibrosis.

Thank you so much to those who were able to attend our February training session, was so lovely seeing new faces and showing off our Walk website for 2025! I hope that everyone is feeling a little more comfortable with our registration platform Crowd Change and how to find the reports you need for Walk Day!

With the launch of our registration platform, we are wanting to make sure that participants are feeling “in the know” for all things happening at their Walk location this year! I will be collecting important day of logistic information that participants typically ask when they reach out to our inbox looking to know more.

We will be asking you about registration time, walk start time, if there is parking on-site and other frequently asked questions we have received from participants. To complete this information, we have put together a form that you can complete when you know all of your timelines for the day of the event. We ask that you please complete this information prior to March 31.

Please check out some of the new resources that have been added to the Coordinator Site since we have previously met!

•       Walk General Brochure – if you are looking to promote the Walk if you are hosting an event before this brochure is available to print!

•       Walk Editable Poster – editable to be able to add your own logistic information.

•       Walk Jr Guide – I seen that children’s activities were being discussed in the group chat. Please find some different templates such as coloring pages, word searches, scavenger hunt and more!

•       Previous Walker Data – For those who are looking to make those recruitment calls and get your past walkers back for another amazing season, here is your previous records from 2023 and 2024! More information about recruitment calls can be found in the February presentation.

A reminder to make sure that you have spoken with your city or venue regarding booking your park location for May 25. If you need me to pay using a Visa card for the expense, I am happy to do so, please just forward the information.

If you are hosting your Walk at a new park location (different from 2024) or if you are hosting a new Walk, please complete the form below with your insurance details.

Walk locations that are hosting their event in the same location as last year will have their insurance renewed automatically from the information, we had last year. You DO NOT need to complete the form below.

Our next meeting session will take place on Wednesday March 19 at 7:30 PM EST. A calendar invite will be coming to everyone soon to save the date!
