The Heart of the Community Fund:
Together, We’re Strengthening
Northern Ireland’s Commmunities

The Ireland Funds is pleased to announce that we have awarded $500,000 in grants to 42 non-profit organizations across Northern Ireland through our Heart of the Community Fund.

This essential funding will enable a wide array of programs and vital services including employment training, peace building, and educational opportunities. Thanks to our donors, The Heart of the Community Fund will bring immediate and practical impact to communities across Northern Ireland.

Examples of organizations receiving awards include:

Corrymeela Community (Antrim):
Through their support groups, they promote peace and reconciliation, contributing to a more cohesive society.

Mind Your Mate and Yourself (Down):
A community-based mental health and well-being charity that provides an adult counselling service and health and well-being programs.

Holy Trinity Youth Centre (Antrim):
The sole full-time, voluntary provider of youth services for the Turf Lodge area in Belfast.

Phoenix Education Centre (Antrim):
A community-based, community-focused and community-led initiative tackling educational underachievement in East Belfast.

THANK YOU for helping us invest in organizations making a real difference across Northern Ireland. Your continued support enables them to create lasting change where it is needed most.

The Heart of the Community Fund will continue our support of organizations like PeacePlayers Northern Ireland and Politics in Action whose work on the ground is bringing communities together and providing opportunities for Northern Ireland's youth.
