This fall in Parliament: your support is powering change for animals

Do you want to see an end to risky, underregulated wildlife trade – trade that causes animals to suffer, has the potential to spread dangerous diseases, and puts people and nature at risk?

Right now, we’re calling on Parliament to fund the Nature Intelligence System (NIS) – a smart, low-cost tool that isn’t in place yet, but could give Canada’s border agents the ability to spot and stop risky shipments of wild animals.

Thousands of Canadians have already emailed their Members of Parliament to urge them to act. With your help, we can build the momentum needed to make this tool a reality.

For years, macaques at Indonesia’s last known dancing monkey training centre were chained and forced to perform tricks for tourists – a life of fear and suffering that no animal should endure. Because of you, that life is behind them. Last year, 31 macaques were rescued and brought to safety, where they are finally free from chains and exploitation.
