EDUCATION NEWS Richard Stride, BSc’84, MBA’88, BEd’92, selected as new Provost and Vice President, Academic of Camosun College Richard brings 14 years of dedicated service to Camosun in progressively senior leadership roles - including Dean, Acting Vice-President, Enrolment and Community Engagement, and currently Acting Provost and Vice-President, Education and Innovation. Library Service Update: Sage title retention list for 2026 UBC Library has completed negotiations with Sage to restructure our title package. You can learn more about the changes to Sage here. In order to retain the highest number of titles, we have agreed to renew four subject collections (Sociology, Education, Psychology, Mental Health) that contain many of UBC’s most-used titles. In addition, we are subscribing to important titles that have the highest usage, are titles that UBC Authors have published with, and have a top citation impact relative to other Sage titles in their subject field.
