Happy April! I apologize for the delay on our “March” Newsletter but I am happy to be hitting your inbox with some great information heading into April as we are less than TWO MONTHS to Walk Day!

Thank you so much to those who were able to attend our March training session. I hope that everyone found the session informative and that they were able to ask all the questions they needed.

• Complete your POS machine ordering by April 12. To ensure that you receive a machine for your fundraising activations on Walk Day 2025 Walk Location Point of Sale Machine Request Survey

• See what collateral is being sent to you and request additional items by April 21 using this form.

• Begin thinking about what volunteer positions you need on site for event day!

Sponsorship/Donation Request Template: Sponsorship_Request_Letter.docx – utilize this letter when going out to sponsors and donors to support your Walk.

Lex will be in contact with you in the next week if CARSTAR is planning to attend on site & fundraise at your event.

CARSTAR has noted that submitting regional requests directly to franchise owners conflicts with their national strategy to support CF Canada and they have communicated with their franchise owners to determine who will be participating at different Walk locations across Canada!

Our next meeting session will take place on Wednesday March 19 at 7:30 PM ET. A calendar invite was just sent out to mark the date!

The Finance/Registration Training Session(s) will be taking place Tuesday May 13 at 1:00 PM ET and Thursday May 15 at 7:30 PM ET. Meeting invites to come!

The Finance/Registration sessions contain the exact same information but are being held at two different times to ensure that everyone can attend. Please ensure that someone from your location is attending to learn the proper information for Walk Day!
